Calendar Event Pattern

Directive: February 15, 2026 - Quan Gan
Rule: All appointments requiring travel must be broken into 3 separate calendar events.

Standard Pattern for Travel Appointments

Event 1: 🚗 Drive TO

Event 2: [Appointment]

Event 3: 🚗 Drive FROM

Tool Usage

Create travel appointment:

from tools.google_calendar_manage import create_travel_appointment

create_travel_appointment(
    appointment_name="Meeting Name",
    home_address="30440 Byfield Rd, Castaic, CA 91384",
    destination_address="Destination Address",
    departure_time=datetime(...),
    arrival_time=datetime(...),
    appointment_start=datetime(...),
    appointment_end=datetime(...),
    return_home_time=datetime(...),
    confirmation_code="ABC123",  # optional
    appointment_description="Details..."  # optional
)

Travel Time Guidelines

CRITICAL: Always be conservative with travel time estimates for traffic.

Formula: Base drive time + 25-50% buffer (depending on route/time of day)

Examples:

Better to arrive early than stress about being late.
